This Privacy Policy explains how Emmanuel AI (“we”, “our” or “us”), made by BloomSynth, collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Emmanuel AI mobile app (the “App”) and this website.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google profile picture. We use them to create your account and to personalize the App.

Your conversations. The messages you send to the AI companion of Jesus, and the replies, are stored with your account. The App also keeps short summaries of what you have shared, so later replies can remember your situation.

Voice. If you allow microphone access, what you say is recorded while you hold the microphone and sent to our servers to be turned into text. Replies can be read aloud with a synthesized voice. We do not keep your voice recordings after they have been transcribed.

Faith-related information. Because the App is about prayer and faith, your conversations may reveal your religious beliefs and other personal matters. We treat this content as sensitive: we use it only to provide the App to you, and we never use it for advertising.

App activity. Daily prayer, reflection and other tasks you complete, your Grace Points, streaks, daily rewards and Gold Coin balance.

Purchases. If you buy Gold Coins, Google Play processes the payment. We receive a record of the purchase (product, order ID, status) to credit your coins. We never see your card or payment details.

Device information. Your app version, device model, time zone and approximate country (from your IP address), used to keep the App working, send messages at sensible local times and prevent abuse. If you allow notifications, we store your device’s notification token.

Advertising. The App shows ads, including optional rewarded ads, through Google AdMob. Google may collect your device’s advertising ID, IP address and information about your device and ad interactions to show and measure ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings.

Diagnostics. We may collect crash reports and anonymous usage statistics to find and fix problems.

What stays on your phone. Your gratitude journal entries are stored only on your device. We do not receive them.

2. How we use your information

Replies are written by AI. To create them, your messages, a summary of earlier conversations and your chosen language are sent to the AI and speech service providers we work with. They process this information only to provide the service to us and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes. Emmanuel AI is an AI companion inspired by Jesus. It is not a person, and it is not a substitute for professional, medical or emergency help.

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example in the EU, the UK or under Brazil’s LGPD), we rely on: contract, to provide the App you asked for; consent, for microphone access, notifications and the faith-related content you choose to share; and legitimate interests, to secure and improve the App. You can withdraw consent at any time in your phone’s settings or by deleting your account.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

Our servers and service providers may be located outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

6. How long we keep information

We keep your account information, conversations and app activity while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete this information, except records we must keep by law (such as purchase records). Voice recordings are not kept after transcription.

7. Security

We protect your information with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. California residents may request to know and delete their personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for using these rights. To use any of these rights, email us or request account deletion. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here, update the date above, and tell you in the App about important changes.
